It’s a common question – and why not? After all, we all want to eat in establishments that have been rated as the very best in hygiene standards don’t we?

The Food Hygiene Rating is a scheme run by the Food Standards Agency in partnership with your local authority. It exists to help you (the customer) choose where to eat out or shop for food by giving you clear information about the business’s hygiene standards.

The scheme gives businesses a rating from 5 to 0 which is displayed at their premises and online so you can make more informed choices about where to buy and eat food.

Ratings are given thus:

5 – hygiene standards are very good

4 – hygiene standards are good

3 – hygiene standards are generally satisfactory

2 – some improvement is necessary

1 – major improvement is necessary

0 – urgent improvement is required

We have worked hard to learn about and comply to these standards and are extremely pleased to announce that we have recently been inspected at home and on site and have achieved the highest possible rating of 5. This means our hygiene standards are very good and fully comply with the law.

So come on down to one of our local pop-ups soon safe in the knowledge that we operate in a fully compliant, clean, hygienic environment…no wonder our pizzas are so delicious!
